I am an Assistant Professor of Economics
at Claremont
McKenna College.
During the 2025-2026 academic year, I was
an NBER Postdoctoral Research Associate for the Startup Cartography
Project (Jorge Guzman, Scott Stern, Catherine Fazio).
I
received my PhD in Applied
Economics from Cornell University and was a visiting student at the
Department of Economics at Yale
University from 2023-2025 hosted by Prof. Samuel
Kortum.
My primary fields are International and Spatial
Economics; Urban Economics; and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
I leverage large-scale microdata and
quantitative spatial models to study:
-
the geography of innovation and entrepreneurship; and
-
how urban form shapes and is influenced by the spatial
distribution of economic activity.
